Employee Spotlight

Chris Melnik

A dedicated technology professional, Chris Melnik joined the HMB team in the spring of 2006. Chris has spent the past two years as a consultant on the Battelle for Kids account.

Chris was a part of the software development team at Battelle for Kids that launched the BFK•Link software in August 2007. This software allows clients to accurately track the links between teacher/student progress. Following this successful launch, Chris worked on software enhancements with the addition of BFK•Learn online course program for teachers and the BFK•Award, an online differentiated compensation program. In addition, Chris continues to support the Battelle for Kids team and has been nicknamed "the Ginsu knife" for his quick problem solving technology skills.

Chris has also contributed to other successful HMB accounts including HTP, as a part of the team that developed the Patient Advocate software application and McGraw-Hill, where Chris helped enhance the 1STEP editorial & production intranet application. Partner Bob Raymond says, "Chris really adds value to his projects and teams with out-of-the-box thinking and perseverance. When tasks are assigned to Chris they get done; correctly, creatively, and on time."

Chris is a graduate of Ohio University with a BS in Business Administration in Management Information Systems. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional. Though passionate about technology, Chris also makes time for his other interests. A dedicated home improvement artist, Chris has spent the past year remodeling his Upper Arlington home, including a new bathroom and installing a paver patio. Chris also enjoys OSU Football games, spending time with girlfriend Liz, and the occasional round of golf.

Chris Melnik
