HMB Practice Directors Provide Insight on Maximizing IT Investments at Code PaLOUsa

Jared Faris and Tony Milne to lead several sessions at Louisville's top software development conference

LOUISVILLE, Ky.  (April 23, 2015) — Experts from HMB, a business technology services firm with offices in Louisville and Columbus, Ohio, will lead a workshop and four sessions at Code PaLOUsa on April 27-30. During the annual Louisville technology conference, HMB experts Jared Faris, Microsoft practice director, and Tony Milne, business intelligence practice director, will provide attendees insight on ways to maximize their IT investments.

“We are thrilled to be a part of Code PaLOUsa and to support the thriving business technology community in Louisville,” said Trey Mayer, director of the HMB Louisville office and SharePoint practice lead. “Jared and Tony are true thought leaders in their fields with robust sets of skills to share with conference attendees.”

On April 27, Faris will lead a half-day workshop on the importance of responsive web design and offer insight on how to get started. He'll also lead two sessions, "How Long Will it Take? A Guide to Software Estimation" on April 28 and "Tools and Tips for Tuning and Debugging the Web" on April 29. Both sessions will offer a mix of tips, tricks and helpful tools to simplify these time consuming processes for developers.

Milne will help attendees alleviate concerns over cloud migration and ways to make the process easier using SQL Server 2014 hybrid cloud solutions during his April 28 session called "Get IT to the Cloud." His April 29 session, "14 Features in SQL Server 2014 You Haven't Considered," will unlock the value of little known features in SQL such as in-memory tables, hybrid cloud environments and BI enhancements.
