HMB joins local organizations to donate hundreds of free meals for Columbus veterans

HMB is proud to partner with event organizer Polaris Financial Partners and other central Ohio organizations to supports our vets as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Armed Services Day.

If you are interested in supporting veterans and Gold Star Families  during COVID19 the event organizer has set up a GoFundMe where you can contribute.

Westerville, OH – May 8, 2020 – COVID-19 has impacted many of our Central Ohio veterans financially and emotionally. Many of our vets depend on food pantries to have a meal.  Polaris Financial Partners supports our vets and we are providing 700 Honey Baked® Ham Dinners and sides, desserts from Eddie Merlot’s, cookies, and drinks from Costco to our local veterans, Blue Star Moms and Gold Star Families. As we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Armed Services Day, we must show the men and women who have fought for our freedom that we hold them in exceptional esteem.  This will be a two-day event in Columbus.

 

Where/When:  

St. Francis DeSales High School Parking Lot - Friday, May 15th from 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Eddie Merlot’s Parking Lot on Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
